- 2Immediately after, interviewer asks: "How did that go? Walk me through what worked and what didn't."
- 3Candidate self-assesses for 5-10 minutes
- 4Interviewer then shares their feedback
What to look for
- Green flag: Candidate identifies the same issues the interviewer noticed
- Red flag: "I think it went great!" when it clearly didn't
- Best signal: Candidate identifies something the interviewer DIDN'T catch
- Self-criticism without self-deprecation (balance matters)
