Ability to diagnose an existing content program, identify gaps, and build a prioritized editorial roadmap

Format

What to look for

  • Does the audit go beyond surface metrics — do they identify structural issues (no bottom-funnel content, wrong audience)?
  • Is the editorial plan tied to business goals, or is it a list of random blog topics?
  • Do briefs show SEO fluency (search intent, keyword difficulty tradeoffs)?
  • Is rationale explained clearly enough that a junior writer could execute without them?

Adaptation guide

Use your actual blog analytics (anonymized) instead of fictional data. Add a constraint like 'two writers, one designer' to test prioritization under resource limits.
