Developer Relations
What it tests
Can they actually build with your product?
Format
- 1Stripe version: Candidate gets a laptop with internet access, builds a working payment flow using the Stripe API in 90 minutes
- 2Hugging Face version: Build a working Gradio app on Hugging Face Spaces, submit as public Space
- 3Full access to docs, Stack Overflow, Google — just like real development
What to look for
- Did they produce something that actually works?
- How did they use documentation? (DevRel people should be power-doc-users)
- Code quality and structure
- How they handle getting stuck
Adaptation guide
Provide API keys, sandbox environment, and documentation. The candidate should have everything they need. The test is execution, not resource-finding.
