Format

  1. 1Over 2 weeks, candidate completes 20 mini-challenges (30-60 min each)
  2. 2Challenges include: SSO configuration, partner API docs, proof-of-concept integrations, certification exam design, co-sell battlecards, competitor analysis, partner onboarding emails
  3. 3Candidates work at their own pace

What to look for

  • Completion rate (did they finish all 20?)
  • Quality consistency (do they mail it in on later challenges?)
  • Technical depth (can they actually build, or only talk?)
  • Prioritization (which challenges did they do first?)

Adaptation guide

Heavy investment from both sides. Best for senior roles ($200K+) where the cost of a bad hire is enormous. Reduce to 10 challenges for mid-level roles.

Format: Over 2 weeks, candidate completes 20 mini-challenges:

  • Configure SSO integration between two systems
  • Write partner API documentation
  • Build a proof-of-concept integration
  • Design a partner certification exam
  • Create a co-sell battlecard
  • Analyze a competitor's partner program
  • Write a partner onboarding email sequence
  • etc.

Each challenge takes 30-60 minutes. Candidates can do them at their own pace.

Time: 2 weeks (15-20 hours total)
